Sports First Aid Appointed Person Award
The Award is fully recognised as a First Aid Appointed Person Qualification that is valid for three years and is ideal for coaches, volunteers, players and referees.
The Sports First Aid Appointed Person Award is a six hour program, where candidates will learn how to deal with a range of first aid situations that occur within your chosen sport. (For example; Rugby, Football, Hockey and Karate). You will learn:
• First Aid Equipment/Box
• Injury Reporting
• Action in an Emergency
• Recovery Position
• CPR – Adult & Child
• Bleeding/Shock
• Fractures
• Soft Tissue Injuries
Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm
Costs: £40 per person (8 minimum – 16 maximum per course)

Requirements: If training on location, one room is required (approx 6x10m for 12
delegates) with power supply and desk for power point.
