Half Day Paediatric & Child Introduction

Baby and Child First Aid (half day course). First aid course specialising in dealing with an injured child. The course covers the common day to day grazes and bumps to choking & resuscitation, practiced on infant size manikins. This course is aimed at giving attendees the confidence to tackle a wide range of emergency situations without being confused by convoluted methods and technical jargon.

Courses can be delivered at your home & workplace.

Course Content:
Delegates will receive training in a range of First Aid subjects, including:

• Emergency Action planning
• Unconscious Casualty
• Baby/Child resuscitation
• Baby/Child Choking
• Control of bleeding/shock

Course Outcome:
On completion of the course, candidates will receive a certificate of competence in Baby and Child First Aid, which proves competence in candidates to give adequate and efficient first aid to baby or child following an injury or illness.

3 hours
